I began my journey in modern medicine, I’ve come to realize that what truly matters is how we age and how we prepare for the stages of life leading up to the end.

 

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients from all walks of life. I’ve met people in their 70s or 80s who are still full of life — like the man who went paragliding for the first time at 80, simply because he could. I’ve also seen patients who are overwhelmed by back-to-back appointments with multiple specialists, or forced to choose between paying for their medications or their rent.
